Mr. Alumran co-founded Stratum in early 2003 and represents a range of experience in private equity, business strategy, and new ventures. He has played a key role in the development and finance of Stratum's venture portfolio and currently serves on the board of several companies including Ensurion, Viacloud, and Petrogenera. Mr. Alumran has also supported a range of financial institutions, family businesses, and new ventures in areas such as venture development and growth. Previously, Mr. Alumran served at a global strategy firm in New York and has been a senior executive and advisor at several ventures both regionally and internationally. Mr. Alumran holds Masters of Engineering and Bachelors of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).
Mr. Tabbara co-founded Stratum in early 2003 and represents a range of experience in private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance. He has served at the board and executive levels on several ventures in industries such as financial services, technology, and manufacturing. Having previously worked with Citigroup in New York, London, and Bahrain, Mr.Tabbara has led a number of financial advisory engagements for clients both regionally and internationally in industries such as banking, energy, and manufacturing. He is also a founding Board member of the Gulf Venture Capital Association and the Bahrain Competitiveness Council. Mr. Tabbara holds a Masters of Engineering Management degree and a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Duke University.
Mr. Dhaduk represents distinguished strategy consulting and private equity experience in North America and the Middle East. During his time at Stratum, he has been involved in the structuring of a range of transactions, the monitoring of Stratum's venture portfolio, and managing the firm's advisory practice. Prior to Stratum, Mr. Dhaduk was with Ernst & Young in Bahrain, as well as with Cap Gemini and Deloitte in Toronto. During his career, Mr. Dhaduk has served on engagements for financial institutions, large corporations, and new ventures in industries such as financial services, petrochemicals, media, technology, retail, and logistics. Mr. Dhaduk holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Queen's University in Canada.
Mr. Malik represents experience in both private equity and advisory services. He has supported Stratum in the research, analysis, development, and monitoring of venture opportunities in industries such as manufacturing, real estate, and financial services, and has advised several investment institutions and business groups in areas such as business planning and financial analysis. Mr. Malik was previously with the Islamic Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young in Bahrain where he advised a range of clients including financial institutions and government bodies. Mr. Malik holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario in Canada with a concentration in Finance, as well as a Bachelors of Computer Engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal.
