Ahmed D. Alumran
Managing Partner
Mr. Alumran co-founded Stratum in early 2003 and represents a range of
experience in private equity, business strategy, and new ventures. He has
served at the board and executive levels on several ventures in industries
such as financial services, technology, and manufacturing, and has advised
the senior management at financial institutions, family businesses, and new
ventures in areas such as business strategy, growth finance, and
international joint ventures. Previously, Mr. Alumran has served at a
global strategy firm in New York founded by ex-McKinsey partners and has
been a senior executive at new ventures in both technology and financial
services. Mr. Alumran holds Masters of Engineering and Bachelors of Science
degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).

Marwan K. Tabbara
Managing Partner
Mr. Tabbara co-founded Stratum in early 2003 and represents a range of
experience in private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance. He
has served at the board and executive levels on several ventures in
industries such as financial services, technology, and manufacturing.
Having previously worked with Citigroup in New York, London, and Bahrain,
Mr. Tabbara has led a number of financial advisory engagements for clients
both regionally and internationally in industries such as banking, energy,
telecommunications, and manufacturing. He is also a founding Board member
of the Gulf Venture Capital Association and the Bahrain Competitiveness
Council. Mr. Tabbara holds a Masters of Engineering Management degree and a
Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from
Duke University.

Fouad P. Saad
Partner
Mr. Saad represents a range of experience in areas such as strategy
consulting, public policy, and new ventures. During his tenure at a
top-tier strategy consultancy firm in Washington, D.C., Mr. Saad played key
roles on engagements for Fortune 100 companies in industries such as power
and telecommunications. He has also advised leading financial institutions,
government bodies, family businesses, and new ventures in sectors such as
financial services, insurance, technology, manufacturing, and real estate.
Mr. Saad holds a Masters of Public Policy degree from Harvard University's
Kennedy School of Government, plus Masters and Bachelors of Science degrees
in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelors of Science degree in Political
Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).

Waleed Dhaduk
Manager
Mr. Dhaduk represents strategy and finance experience in industries such as
financial services, media, technology, retail, and logistics. He has
advised on the structuring and execution of early and growth stage private
equity transactions in the Middle East and South East Asia. Previously a
senior team leader in the Islamic Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young
in Bahrain, as well as a management consultant at Cap Gemini and Deloitte
Consulting in Canada, he has served on engagements for financial
institutions, large corporations, and new ventures. Mr. Dhaduk holds a
Bachelors of Commerce degree in Business Strategy and Finance from the
Queen's School of Business at Queen's University in Canada and is also
currently enrolled in the Masters in International Relations program at the
University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

Katie Holley
Senior Associate
Ms. Holley has a range of professional advisory experience in industries
such as real estate, hospitality, tourism & leisure, and financial services.
Previously a manager at BDO Jawad Habib Consulting in Bahrain, she has
served on a number of key engagements for both private and public sector
clients in areas such as market research, business planning, and investment
analysis. In addition, she has previously served as a manager of global
research and consulting in Queensland, Australia at CB Richard Ellis, the
world's largest vertically integrated commercial real estate services firm.
Ms. Holley holds a Masters of International Economics & Finance as well as a
Bachelor of Business in Property Studies from the University of Queensland,
Australia.

Sandra Chaoul
Associate
Ms. Chaoul represents a banking and corporate finance background having
previously served at several leading financial institutions in Lebanon
including Audi Bank. She has played an active role in areas such as
financial analysis, due diligence, and valuations for companies ranging from
institutional conglomerates to family businesses and in industries such as
manufacturing, hospitality, construction, and trading. Ms. Chaoul holds an
MBA with a concentration in Finance from HEC "Ecole des Hautes Etudes
Commerciales" in Canada as well as a Bachelors of Business and Management
from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon.

Hasan Malik
Associate
Mr. Malik represents experience in both management consulting and
entrepreneurship. He was previously a team leader with the Islamic
Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young in Bahrain where he provided
business planning and investment analysis support to a range of clients
including financial institutions and government bodies. Prior to this, he
spent several years with a technology startup in Canada. Mr. Malik holds
an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western
Ontario in Canada with a concentration in Finance, as well as a Bachelor of
Computer Engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
